Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead their Luxury On-Trade & Retail team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop, manage and execute channel strategies in the fast-paced FMCG sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, establishing and implementing sales budgets, forecasts and strategies to meet growth targets and sustain market leadership.
What you'll do:
As a Senior Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's Luxury On-Trade & Retail division. You will be tasked with developing and executing channel strategies that align with the company's vision and roadmap. Your responsibilities will also include planning, establishing and implementing the annual sales budget, quarterly forecasts (LEs) and strategies for Luxury On-Trade & Retail channel to meet Company targets for growth. You will work closely with importers & wholesalers on alignment of allocations, target distribution and fulfilment of order deliveries.
- Develop, manage and execute the channel strategy
- Plan, establish and implement the annual sales budget
- Contribute to gross-to-net revenue maximisation through effective Commercial strategies
- Work with importers & wholesalers on alignment of allocations
- Drive best-in-class Luxury On-Trade & Retail Distribution Segmentation
- Continuously assess the addressable outlet universe to acquire new accounts
- Ensure high quality consumer activation in terms of programme planning and implementation
- Responsible for all people management aspects for Luxury On-Trade & Retail team

The ideal candidate for this Senior Sales Manager position brings a wealth of experience in B2B sales leadership or national key account management within the premium consumer goods segment. You have a deep understanding of the Luxury On-Trade & Retail dynamics of the wine and spirits landscape in Malaysia. Your appreciation for wine and spirits category, coupled with your knowledge of the nightlife lifestyle makes you an ideal fit for this role. Your strong negotiation, numerical and analytical skills will be key in driving the success of our client's Luxury On-Trade & Retail division.
- At least 10 years B2B sales leadership or national key account management capacity in premium consumer goods segment
- Understanding of the Luxury On-Trade & Retail dynamics of the wine and spirits landscape in Malaysia
- Understanding of the luxury/prestige consumer goods market in Malaysia
- Appreciation for wine and spirits category, and the nightlife lifestyle
- Driven, self-motivated, proactive and positive with a can-do mindset
- Well-developed stakeholder management skills (internal/external)
- Strong negotiation, numerical and analytical skills
