Our client is seeking a seasoned Chief Business Development Officer (EMS) to join their team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the business development strategy of a dynamic organisation. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, with experience leading teams and securing contracts from customers. With excellent English language skills and good business conversation skill, you'll be comfortable engaging with prospective and existing clients both domestically and internationally.

What you'll do:

As the Chief Business Development Officer (EMS), your primary responsibility will be to drive the company's revenue growth. You will lead all aspects of business development, from identifying leads to closing deals. Your strategic insights will guide the CEO and Board in making key decisions for the company's growth. You will also work closely with the R&D team on product development, representing the company at trade shows and expositions. Leading the Business Development team, you will play a crucial role in recruiting, coaching, and managing performance.

  • Achieve company's revenue business case
  • Lead end-to-end business development efforts
  • Advise CEO and Board on viable business strategies for company growth
  • Develop annual business development strategy for the company
  • Stay abreast of market trends and competitor movements
  • Co-lead product development with R&D team
  • Represent the company at trade shows and expositions
  • Lead Business Development team as People Manager

What you bring:

As an experienced Chief Business Development Officer (EMS), you bring a wealth of knowledge in B2B sales. Your leadership skills have seen you successfully guide BD teams towards achieving their targets. Your excellent communication skills enable you to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Your willingness to travel for client engagement demonstrates your commitment to fostering strong client relationships. Your understanding of market trends and competitor movements equips you with the strategic insight needed to steer the company towards success.

  • 12 - 15 years work experience in B2B sales
  • Experience leading BD teams and winning/securing contracts from customers
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for client engagement
  • Knowledgeable about market trends and competitor movements
  • Experience in product development with R&D teams
