Our client is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with a wide range of clients, from homegrown brands to large multinationals, fostering long-term partnerships and mutual growth. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in understanding shifting dynamics, clarifying direction, and developing practical solutions.

What you'll do:

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's organisation. Your primary responsibility will be lead generation where you'll conduct research, analyse prospects, and identify new business opportunities. You'll also be instrumental in supporting business development activities by tracking sales opportunities, assisting in marketing processes, and building relationships with key stakeholders. Furthermore, your contribution will extend to supporting systems and processes by providing necessary research, administrative support, driving continuous improvement projects within the company.

  • Conduct research and analysis on qualified leads and prospects to identify business opportunities
  • Generate leads through cold-calling, management of website-generated leads and setting appointments with strategic decision makers
  • Propose, develop and leverage digital content across company platforms to generate leads
  • Support the Business Development team in following up on sales opportunities to secure business and close sales
  • Track and update everyday business development activities of sales opportunities into the company's internal systems
  • Assist in sales and marketing processes such as client communications, drafting proposals, and market positioning based on intensive market and competitor research
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, especially high-level decision makers (HODs & C-suite Managers)
  • Provide research, administrative and analytic support for Business Development departments
  • Drive and support continuous improvement projects within the company such as updating Standard Operating Procedures, tools and template development, and process streamlining

What you bring:

The ideal Business Development Executive will bring a wealth of skills and experience to the role. You should hold a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification, with experience in B2B roles being a distinct advantage. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills will be utilised daily as you pitch ideas and communicate with clients. Self-motivation, resourcefulness, and the ability to work under pressure are key traits that will ensure your success in meeting deadlines and achieving KPIs. Despite your ability to work independently, you understand the importance of teamwork and maintain positive work ethics.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification is required
  • Experience in B2B roles will be an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Confidence, sociability, and persuasiveness when pitching ideas are crucial
  • Self-motivation in meeting deadlines and achieving KPIs is expected
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision is necessary
  • Teamwork skills with positive work ethics are important
  • Resourcefulness, drive and ability to work under pressure are key
