A multinational company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Market Sales Manager, SEA (Automation) with a focus on the automotive sector to lead the sales efforts in the automation industry across the Southeast Asia region.
About the Market Sales Manager, SEA (Automation) Role: In this business critical role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the automotive market.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies targeting the automotive sector to achieve or exceed revenue targets
Analyse market trends and customer needs to adapt sales approaches
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive industry
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients through effective lead generation and prospecting
Build and nurture relationships with key clients in the automotive sector
Work closely with automotive clients to understand their specific automation needs
Develop and propose customised solutions that align with client requirements and company capabilities
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to automotive clients
Collaborate with the marketing team to create industry-specific sales materials
Monitor and analyse sales performance, providing regular reports on key metrics and KPIs
Utilise data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies
Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities within the automotive sector
Provide insights and recommendations for adapting strategies to stay competitive
Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment between sales strategies and overall company goals
To succeed in this Market Sales Manager, SEA (Automation) role, the ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of automation solutions and a proven track record in B2B sales within the automotive sector.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
Minimum of eight years of experience in B2B sales, with a significant portion in a leadership role within the automation industry targeting the automotive sector
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in the automotive sector
Deep understanding of automation solutions and technologies, particularly in the context of the automotive industry
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Leadership and team-building abilities
Strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and a results-driven mindset
