A Regional Business Development Manager (Automation) job has become available at a multinational company is to join the team in Malaysia.
About the Regional Business Development Manager (Automation) Role: In this critical role, you will be responsible for growing the product presence in enabling and assisting the local sales organisations in the development of business opportunities, vertical solutions, and strategic partnerships for the sale of robotic solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Source, secure, and develop strategic relationships with partners to expand market opportunities
Create, identify, and execute new growth opportunities by understanding key customer requirements and translating gaps to business solutions
Drive regional business opportunities and sales conversion which focusing on key accounts and local partners collaboration and support to local sales teams
Collaborate, coach, enable and support local sales and lead engagement with selected regional business opportunities
Work in lockstep with HQ and regional team by leveraging global strategies and best practices to strengthen B2B capabilities in the region
Provide thought leadership and key value proposition on the business strategy cross-functionally to partners and relevant stakeholders
Work closely with local sales to prioritise key business initiatives, formulate and execute strategic plan together with the local teams
Provide regular and timely update and progress reports for management on a regular basis regional and local support for events/enablement workshops
Deliver high-impact, high-quality presentations to decision makers by delivering thought leadership, sharing of best practices and use cases, and establishing the company as the vendor of choice
To succeed in this Regional Business Development Manager role, you must have prior business development experience preferably in the automation industry setting.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent disciplines
At least five years of regional experience in business development, market development, strategic partnerships, product management or automation engineering
