A rapidly expanding tobacco brand is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (Arabic Speaker) to manage the company’s supply of products and services. About the Business Development Manager (Arabic Speaker) Role:
In this business critical role you will be responsible for maintaining client relationships, analysing current strategies, and developing improved action plans. The responsibilities include strategising to find cost-effective deals and suppliers, discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and manage client relationships, seeking opportunities for new contracts
• Analyse data and generate reports to pinpoint areas for business growth
• Monitor and stay informed about local and federal regulations affecting the business
• Develop effective sourcing strategies and establish partnerships with profitable distributors and organisations
• Negotiate with external vendors, secure advantageous terms, approve orders, and finalise purchase details
• Track key metrics to reduce expenses, collaborate with key stakeholders, and ensure clarity of company expectations
• Anticipate changes in negotiating power, perform risk management for supply contracts, and control spending for long-term savings

To succeed in the Business Development Manager (Arabic Speaker) job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

• Degree qualifications in business, marketing, economics, or related field
• At least three years’ experience in FMCG
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market
• Must be able to converse in Arabic language as they will be assigned to Middle East markets
• Talent in negotiations and networking
• Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
