An exciting Senior Manager (Logistics Sales) job opportunity has just become available with a multinational logistics service provider based in Penang.

About the Senior Manager (Logistics Sales) Role:
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be expected to be the key enabler for business growth and retention of key account customers within Malaysia and Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and service major accounts as well as develop and implement sales strategies to source for new business opportunities
• Conduct business analysis and drive to ensure sales revenue and profitability objectives are met
• Promote the company's total logistics services and solutions to solicit and explore business opportunities
• Manage customer relationships for business retention and new prospects
• Work closely with Operations Managers, drive for operations excellence in meeting Service Level Agreements
• Conduct business presentation, negotiation, contract review and management
• Provide adequate support to direct reports; manage, coach, motivate and lead subordinates to function effectively; plan for staff development and career advancement
• Undertake any other business-related assignments from the company, as required

To succeed in this Senior Manager (Logistics Sales) role, you must be highly motivated with hunter instincts to develop each potential prospect into business opportunity.

Key Requirements:

• Degree holder in a relevant discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of work experience in sales, preferably in logistics services
• Supply chain knowledge, familiar with manufacturing, freight forwarding and warehousing processes and systems
• Analytical, process and solutions-oriented, strong interpersonal skills
• Good planning and organisational skills; negotiation and presentation skills
• Familiarity with electronic communication tools and Microsoft office Software: Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Visio/Project
