Sales Executive (FMCG)

An exciting Sales Executive (FMCG) job has just become available at one of the most respected international FMCG firms based in Malaysia. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, this is a role for a sales executive who is a leader in their field.

About the Sales Executive (FMCG) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for handling important client accounts. The role must build and maintain strong relationships with the client and be the lead point of contact for all key client matters, by anticipating the client’s needs, working within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and helping the client to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for customer database maintenance
• Trade asset management
• Responsible for product distribution, hygiene, and merchandising standard guidelines
• Ensure execution compliance to Trade Plan (POSM execution, Promo Compliance)
• Secures competitors marketing, pricing and other relevant information
• Work closely with the Sales Manager to ensure new account opening and sales orders are
• followed through timely and accurately

To succeed in this Sales Executive (FMCG), you must be numerically strong, possess outstanding strategic thinking abilities and strong experience in key account management.

Key Requirements:

• At least two years of business experience. (Experience in sales is strongly preferred)
• Business-level fluency in English.
• Basic skills in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Business experience in the FMCG industry, especially frozen food brands is a strong plus
• Modern trade experience is a plus
