About the Business Development Manager (Construction) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for the business development activities to increase the company’s revenue stream.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage business development operations and activities
• Enhance market shares by developing new business opportunities
• Conduct survey, gather market insights, analyse and report/present to the management on potential business/project/clients and viable revenue streams
• Identify key success factors and recommend areas of improvement
• Develop business strategies, long and short-term plans to promote sales growth
• Collaborate with sales and project team to create contract-winning proposals for prospective clients
• Develop and nurture relationships with prospective clients while maintaining strong relationship with existing clients
• Propose and drive programmes for client satisfaction and retention
• Respond to client issues/feedback in a professional manner to ensure client satisfaction

The successful Business Development Manager (Construction) must have prior sales experience preferably within the construction segment.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
• More than eight years of experience in business development for construction/engineering or a relevant field
• Good negotiation, presentation and communication skills, positive attitude, team player and self-motivated
• Willing to travel and able to work outstation as and when required
