About the Store Expansion Manager (Automotive Retail) Role:
This is a role for an aspiring leader who is looking forward to building and developing the business to a different level. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role manages the future development and expansion of stores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, identify, survey, evaluate, and propose potential areas for expansion
• Negotiate rental and tenancy terms for the company
• Review and evaluate store outlets for tenancy renewals
• Analyse and advise legal risk in the lease/tenancy agreement and prescribe countermeasures
• Analyse the business reports regularly, understand the challenges of the business with regards to the company’s direction, and prescribe countermeasures and propose improvement points to the management
• Build mature relationships with landlords, developers, landowners, investors, bankers, and negotiate equally as a key representative of the company
• Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure store opening as per schedule
• Ensure all the internal and external SOP and policies are observed
• Lead a team to support the expansion plan of the company and its subsidiaries

To succeed in this Store Expansion Manager (Automotive Retail) role, you will need to be strategic and have strong property development insights to support the expansion plan for the company.

Key Requirements:

• Eight or more years experience within the retail management space. Key exposure should include retail leasing, strategic expansion, store development (scrap and build, renovation, etc.)
• People management experience with at least a team of three is an added advantage
• Degree in retail/property management, real estate, building management, or business equivalent field
• A wide range of network with developers, landowners, retail property owners
• Proven abilities to lead and develop a diverse group of direct reports
