About the Sales Director (Engineering Equipment) role:
In this business critical role, you will drive and lead the strategic development of the company's sales and to lead mutiple General Manager from other countries. You are responsible to grow the profitability of the services business by implementing business development strategies within the sales team.
- Provide strategic insight, direction and advice, as a in-house consultant of engineering equipment for B2B sales team with local marketing perspective & strategic expertise.
- Contribute to improve the B2B sales capability of industrial product as a global top player in B2B industry
- Ensure appropriate customer segmentation to map opportunities for after sales service products for all accounts
- Lead and manage a team of technical account managers in terms of service sales business
- Provide input to resource planning based on service account plans and customer feedback
- Continual development of the organization structure and process capability to meet the business needs which include manpower planning and development, resource allocation, investment in technology and process improvement.
- Instill quality culture in line with business needs.
- Drive innovations in product development, process improvement and customer service.
The successful Sales Director (Engineering Equipment) must have experience within the trading business of engineering equipment. The ideal person should also have experience in leading a large P & L for the company and people management as this incubent would have to lead a large team
Key Requirements :
- At least 18 to 20 years of working experience with 10 to 15 years in Management position.
- Extensive knowledge in industrial business management
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest technology and its trend in the various engineering and technical fields the company is currently engaged in
- Extensive knowledge and good understanding of the market economy, business culture and practices of the various countries in which or with whom we are dealing with
- Strong analytical skills
