- Serve as the main liaison for assigned Modern Trade key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction remains consistently high and fostering long-term loyalty.
- Develop comprehensive account plans that align with overall business objectives to maximise sales growth, increase volume, and expand market reach within all Modern Trade formats.
- Collaborate closely with distributor key account teams to flawlessly execute in-store promotions, product activations, new listings, and other trade marketing initiatives.
- Negotiate annual trading terms, promotional activities, and joint business plans with major retail partners to secure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Monitor account performance rigorously by tracking monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while identifying areas for improvement or further expansion.
- Analyse evolving market trends, competitor actions, and customer data to uncover new opportunities for growth and innovation within the Modern Trade landscape.
- Coordinate efforts across supply chain, finance, marketing, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal customer experiences.
- Conduct regular visits to retail outlets to assess merchandising standards, stock availability, pricing compliance, and overall execution quality.
- Prepare detailed business reviews for internal leadership as well as external customer stakeholders to communicate progress and strategic recommendations.

- A consistent track record of handling Supermarkets, Hypermarkets, Mini Markets, Convenience Stores or Petrol Mart accounts shows your familiarity with complex retail environments.
- Exceptional negotiation skills enable you to secure advantageous trading terms while maintaining harmonious relationships with partners.
