  • Develop, manage, and execute a comprehensive channel strategy for the Modern & Luxury On Trade segment, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market vision.
  • Plan, establish, and implement annual sales budgets and quarterly forecasts in partnership with senior leadership to achieve ambitious growth targets for both revenue and volume.
  • Optimise commercial performance by managing allocation strategies, product mix, and trade investments to maximise profitability across all relevant channels.
  • Collaborate closely with importers and wholesalers to ensure seamless distribution, target fulfilment, and timely delivery of products to key business partners.
  • Drive segmentation and visibility initiatives for flagship brands through innovative programmes and strategic collaborations with high-value accounts.
  • Continuously assess market opportunities by identifying new outlets for portfolio expansion while nurturing existing relationships to secure long-term growth.
  • Lead high-quality consumer activation initiatives in partnership with internal teams such as Marketing and Finance to ensure cohesive brand messaging and impactful execution.
  • Participate actively in joint business planning sessions with cross-functional teams including Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain to align on goals and share insights.
  • Uphold governance standards by managing budgets responsibly using company tools and ensuring all contracts are properly organised according to compliance guidelines.
  • Coach, develop, and inspire your team members by fostering a culture of continuous improvement, open communication, and shared success.

What you bring:

To excel as Modern and Luxury On Trade Channel Manager, your background should reflect substantial experience leading sales operations or managing key accounts within premium segments—ideally spanning wine & spirits or related hospitality industries. Your proven track record demonstrates not only technical expertise but also an innate ability to foster meaningful connections across multiple stakeholder groups. You bring a nuanced understanding of Malaysia’s luxury consumer landscape along with an appreciation for what drives success in high-end venues.   • At least 10 years’ experience in B2B sales leadership or national key account management within premium consumer goods sectors such as wine & spirits, F&B or hospitality; minimum 6 years’ people management experience required.
  • Deep understanding of the dynamics within Malaysia’s modern & luxury on-trade wine and spirits landscape as well as broader luxury/prestige consumer goods markets.
  • Demonstrated appreciation for premium categories including wine & spirits alongside familiarity with nightlife lifestyle trends relevant to target consumers.
  • Well-developed stakeholder management skills enabling you to build trust-based relationships both internally across departments and externally with business partners.
  • Exceptional negotiation abilities combined with strong numerical acumen for analysing data-driven insights that inform commercial decisions.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills allowing you to connect authentically with customers while communicating complex ideas clearly across diverse audiences.
  • Proven motivation and coaching capabilities that empower teams towards shared objectives while nurturing individual growth.
  • Effective time management coupled with meticulous organisational skills ensuring accuracy in reporting, contract administration, and project delivery.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite as well as CRM/BI platforms such as Salesforce or Power BI for monitoring performance metrics.
  • Fluency in written/spoken English; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese or local dialects highly advantageous.
