Key Account Manager (Logistics)
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager (Logistics) to join their team in Penang. This role is crucial for driving the growth of client relationships with a focus on cross-selling integrated freight and logistics solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing profitable business growth, understanding client expectations, managing Service Level Agreements, and strengthening brand loyalty.
What you'll do:
As a Key Account Manager (Logistics), you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our client's business. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, developing and maintaining strategic relationships at multiple levels. You will identify new business opportunities, manage RFQ/RFI processes, contractual agreements, and ensure optimal service level performance. Additionally, you will prepare annual budgets for key accounts, closely monitor progress to meet or exceed plans, and handle any service escalations effectively. Your role will also involve supporting the implementation of newly won businesses and organising regular Business Reviews and Workshops with clients.
- Serve as the focal point of contact for the Key Accounts assigned, develop and maintain strategic/operational multi-level relationships.
- Be the liaison with the Key Accounts on all business-related matters pertaining to overall business growth.
- Identify potential new business opportunities, manage RFQ/RFI, contractual agreements, and service level performance.
- Develop Key Account Development Plan including mapping out client’s value chain.
- Prepare annual Key Account budget with close monitoring to meet or exceed plan.
- Manage client’s service escalations and work jointly with internal stakeholders for effective issue resolution.
- Support the implementation of new business won.
- Organize Business Reviews and Workshops with clients as required.
