Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Trade Marketing Manager to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop 'Go To Market' strategies for both Malaysia and International Markets Cluster, driving business growth through distribution, visibility, new product development launches, and promotions. The successful candidate will have the chance to develop new business opportunities within the cluster.

What you'll do:

As a Trade Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive 'Go To Market' strategies that drive business growth across Malaysia and International Markets Cluster. You will collaborate with internal teams, distributors, and stakeholders to build initiatives that drive sales growth. Your role will also involve managing trade launches, developing sales tool kits for key campaigns, engaging in business development activities, managing sales forecasts, and building functional capabilities within your team.

  • Build and drive sales business plans for Malaysia and International Cluster
  • Collaborate with internal and distributor sales teams to drive sell-out growth, distribution, and visibility goals in trade
  • Control and analyse trade spending to maximise return on investment
  • Set up data analytics and review sales analytics for all categories in the cluster
  • Develop trade programs that can help win in the market across cluster markets
  • Manage all trade launches and initiatives for all categories for the cluster
  • Develop sales tool kit for key campaigns and new product launches
  • Engage in sales and business development for F&B channel for MY and international cluster
  • Manage sales forecast and sales forecast accuracy for the total cluster
  • Build functional and leadership capability for all positions and develop a talent pipeline

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Trade Marketing Manager role brings a wealth of experience in marketing within the FMCG or food industries. With at least 10 years of professional experience under your belt, you possess strong business acumen coupled with industry expertise. Your analytical skills enable you to develop promotional strategies in a fast-paced environment, and your excellent communication skills allow you to influence at all levels of the organisation.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent; Master’s degree is an added advantage
  • At least 10 years of professional Trade Marketing experience
  • Knowledge of Marketing and Trade Marketing in FMCG or food industries
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Analytical skills with ability to develop promotional strategies in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly at all levels of the organisation
  • Strong people management skills including coaching and mentoring
