An exciting Account Manager (Food Ingredient) job has become available at a global supplement ingredient firm.
Our client, a leading upstream health supplements company with a strong presence across four continents, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join their expanding team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage key client relationships, drive business growth, and ensure customer satisfaction within the high-end innovative ingredients sector. The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with cross-functional teams, negotiate contracts, monitor sales performance, and provide excellent after-sales support.
What you'll do:
As an Account Manager, your primary role will be managing key client relationships within the food ingredient sector. You will be responsible for developing strategies to expand existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities. Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring the timely delivery of solutions based on customer needs. Your negotiation skills will be crucial in securing contracts that maximise profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction. Monitoring sales performance and key account metrics will be part of your daily tasks, along with providing top-notch after-sales support. Staying abreast of industry trends and competitor activities will also be essential in this role.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Account Manager position brings a wealth of experience from previous roles in account management or related fields. With at least five years under your belt, you are adept at managing key client relationships and driving business growth. Your strong communication skills complement your negotiation abilities, enabling you to secure profitable contracts while ensuring customer satisfaction. You are comfortable managing multiple accounts simultaneously without compromising on the level of customer service provided. Your proficiency in CRM software and MS Office applications will be crucial in this role. As a goal-oriented individual, you have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. You are capable of working independently but also thrive in team settings.
