Our client, a leading international brand known for its premium assortments, is seeking a dynamic professional to join their team as the Head of Sales. This full-time position is based in Malaysia and offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the company's growth strategy across South East Asia.

What you'll do:

As the Head of Sales, you will be instrumental in driving our client's growth strategy across South East Asia. Your role will involve defining and executing the sales plan for the region, leading a dynamic sales and innovation team, and establishing strong relationships with key accounts. You will also collaborate closely with the marketing department to develop innovative strategies that align with business objectives. Additionally, you will work alongside R&D to identify opportunities for new product development.

  • Establish sales strategy, policy and objectives together with the Managing Director
  • Deliver and exceed sales targets in SEA region
  • Lead and coordinate sales development with SEA based customers
  • Grow business with existing key accounts and penetrate new ones
  • Lead and manage Sales and Innovation team in South East Asia region
  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to develop innovative marketing strategies
  • Work closely with Marketing and R&D to identify opportunities for new product development
  • Manage local brand property rights as well as contracts with exclusive importers

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Head of Sales role brings a wealth of experience in international sales within the foodservice, coffee shop, or bar channels. You have a proven track record of managing importers and distribution networks across SEA countries or similar regions. Your leadership skills are exceptional, having managed international teams successfully. Fluent in English, you possess strong strategic thinking abilities and have demonstrated your capacity to build robust business strategies and plans. Your meticulous organisation skills will be crucial in this role.

  • At least 10 years successful experience in sales in Foodservice / Coffee shop / Bar channels for an international company
  • Experience managing importers and distribution networks in SEA countries or relevant
  • International team management experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong strategic thinking skills
  • Proven ability to build strong business strategies and plans
  • Experience leading teams towards achieving goals
  • Excellent organisational skills
