Our client is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the fast-growing market of Industrial Automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing sales activities by searching for new customers, developing customer relations, growing the customer base and converting leads into sales.

What you'll do:

As an Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to enhance our client's sales activities in South East Asia. You will be tasked with searching for new customers, developing relationships, growing the customer base and converting leads into sales. Your role will involve achieving individual sales targets through effective lead generation, follow-ups, service delivery and transaction closure. You will also maintain relationships with customers, understanding their motivations and tapping into these effectively. Additionally, you will execute and follow through on sales plans set by your manager with the aim of expanding the company's customer base.

  • Achieve individual sales target by conducting the full sales cycle of lead generation, follow-up, service delivery and closure of transaction.
  • Maintain relationship with customers, understand what motivates customers to buy and know how to tap into those needs and desires effectively.
  • Execute and follow through the sales plan set by the manager with the aim to expand the company’s customer base.
  • Possess the creativity and resourcefulness to introduce technology that adds value to the customers.
  • Review sales activities with the management team on a weekly basis, including the status of prospective customers, plans to meet sales goals and status on deadlines.

What you bring:

The ideal Account Manager candidate brings a wealth of skills and qualifications to this role. You should hold a Diploma or Degree in computer science or related engineering fields. Prior experience in a similar industry with a similar sales cycle is essential, along with a proven track record of success. Your ability to build relations with clients quickly will be key in this role. As a highly motivated go-getter with hunter instincts, you'll have the drive to develop each potential prospect into a business opportunity. Strong interpersonal skills are crucial, as is your ability to communicate and make presentations effectively.
