Our client is seeking a Senior Key Account Executive to join their dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and implement account strategies, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and contribute to the growth of the business. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excellent communication skills, and experience in the FMCG sector. Experience in the skincare or cosmetics industry would be a plus.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Key Account Executive, your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our client's business. You will be responsible for developing account strategies that align with business objectives, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and conducting regular business reviews. Your ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams will enable you to develop tailored strategies that meet the unique needs of each account. You will also be tasked with negotiating terms and pricing, monitoring market trends, providing accurate sales forecasts, and analysing sales data. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify growth opportunities and make necessary adjustments to ensure continued success.

  • Develop and implement account strategies and business plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with accounts to analyse performance, identify growth opportunities, and address any challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored strategies and initiatives.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotions with accounts, ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for new product launches and promotional campaigns.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to demand planning activities.
  • Analyse sales data and performance metrics to track progress, evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives, and propose adjustments as needed.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Key Account Executive position brings a wealth of experience in Sales/ Key Account Management within the FMCG sector. You possess excellent communication skills which you utilise effectively in negotiations and presentations. Your ability to manage key accounts has been proven through your previous roles. You understand the sales process thoroughly from prospecting right through to closing deals. Your language skills include a good command of both English and Mandarin. A degree in BBA, Marketing or a related field is required for this role.

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in BBA , Marketing or related fields.
  • Minimum 2-3 years FMCG experience in Sales/ Key Account Management Merchandiser, Offline business.
  • Experience managing and developing key accounts.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process from prospecting to close.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interact with a broad set of businesses and stakeholders.
  • Good command of English and Mandarin.
