Our client is seeking a Proposal Manager to join their Industrial B2B APAC team, based in Kuala Lumpur. What you'll do:

As a Proposal Manager, your role will be pivotal in defining valuable solutions to meet our client's needs. You will be responsible for building proposals for systems and services projects, specifying the right system combination that will enable long-term service contracts with customers. Your ability to coordinate and manage all phases of the proposal process will be crucial. You will develop quotations based on value propositions, focusing on managing risks and liabilities during proposal development. Your support will be invaluable to Systems & Services sales professionals as they negotiate contracts with customers.

  • Establish and implement delivery plans and strategies for successful proposal delivery
  • Manage successful relationships between internal and external stakeholders to ensure proposal project success

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Proposal Manager position brings a wealth of experience in bid/proposal management or quote support. With at least 8-10 years under your belt, you have proven your ability to assess project costs with a thorough understanding of budgeting and financial concepts. Your fluency in English coupled with your excellent proposal writing skills make you an asset to any team. Your experience in preparing bids for B2G tenders as well as B2B RFPs sets you apart from others.

  • Graduated with an engineering degree
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in Bid / Proposal Management/project management or Quote support
  • Fluent in English
  • Good ability to write proposals with knowledge of business law and terms and conditions
  • Proven experience in assessing project costs with thorough knowledge of budgeting & financial concepts, including LI Capital.
  • Experience in preparing bids for B2G tenders as well as B2B RFPs
