What you'll do:

As a Sales Manager (Analytical), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's business. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the performance of the division by establishing annual sales plans and goals. You will lead project pursuits, manage customer accounts, provide technical support, and resolve product issues. Your ability to inspire and motivate your team will be crucial in meeting business goals. You will also have the opportunity to identify new markets and opportunities, developing strategic plans for their development. Promoting the division brand will also fall under your remit.

  • Responsible for the performance of the division including top line and gross profit by establishing annual sales plans, goals, POR and continuously driving performance to meet these goals.
  • Execute growth plans.
  • Provide leadership in project pursuit, customer accounts & events, technical support and product issues.
  • Work closely with division AP function groups.
  • Inspire and motivate area/sales channels to meet business goals.
  • Understand existing markets/customers, drive growth and address white space in these markets/customers.
  • Identify new opportunities/markets and develop strategic plan for the development of new opportunities.
  • Promote division brand.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sales Manager (Analytical) position brings a wealth of experience from the process instrumentation industry. With at least 5 years' experience under your belt, you have a proven track record of driving revenue through discovering, prospecting, and creating new business opportunities. Your degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics or Chemical) complements your strong communication and interpersonal skills. You possess good knowledge of general market/country dynamics and business opportunities in the process control industry. Your strong business management skills are customer-focused, and you have a knack for people management, boasting excellent communication & interpersonal skills. You are known for your good personality and innovative thinking. Lastly, your organisational, prioritisation and planning management skills are second to none.

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience in process instrumentation.
  • Proven track record of success driving revenue through discovering, prospecting and creating new business.
  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Chemical).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of general market/country and business opportunities in the process control industry.
  • Strong business management with a focus on customer orientation.
  • Strong people management with excellent communication & interpersonal skills; good personality and innovative thinking.
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation and planning management skills.
