Our client is seeking a National Sales Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing business strategies to achieve profitable business relationships and identify new revenue opportunities with major accounts.
What you'll do:
As a National Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our client's business. Your primary responsibility will be to implement effective sales strategies and plans that align with the company's overall objectives. You will maintain strategic business relationships, ensuring high levels of customer service are delivered at all times. Additionally, you will negotiate sales with both existing and new customers while identifying their needs and opportunities. Your leadership skills will come into play as you oversee daily sales support/planning activities and monitor the business to ensure it adheres to the company's sales strategy.
- Achieve mutually agreed objectives
- Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies
- Maintain strategic business relationships and ensure high quality of service level being delivered to our customers
- Negotiate sales with existing and new customers
- Identify Customer needs and opportunities by analysing sales gap & develop strategy to minimize or close gap
- Serve as a liaison between clients and company departments
- Oversee daily sales support/planning activities
- Monitor Business to adhere company’s sales strategy
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the National Sales Manager position brings a wealth of experience and skills to the table. You should hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in business development or a related field. A minimum of 5 years' experience in sales management within multinational FMCG companies is required, preferably with personal care experience. At least 2 years' managerial experience is also necessary, ideally coupled with trade marketing knowledge. You should possess strong analytical skills, business acumen, negotiation abilities, and a customer-oriented approach. Proficiency in MS Office is essential along with excellent English communication skills.
- Bachelor degree or higher in business development or other related fields
- At least 5 years experience in sales management or similar area of multi-national companies in FMCG preferably with personal care experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in managerial skills, preferably with trade marketing knowledge
- Analytical, business acumen, negotiation, customer-oriented, presentation, result-driven skills
- Computer literacy in MS Office
- Good command in English both spoken and written
