What you'll do:
As a Business Developer (Water Treatment), your role will be pivotal in identifying needs for sustainable solutions within Malaysian industries. You will design and implement strategies that minimise negative impacts on the environment. Your responsibilities will include proposing solutions that reduce waste and pollution, assisting businesses in enhancing their ESG performance, and developing effective waste management systems. Additionally, you will conduct market research to understand customer needs, propose viable projects and business plans, and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Propose, design and implement solutions that minimise waste, pollution and resource usage
- Assist businesses in improving their ESG performance by implementing sustainable projects and practices
- Develop waste management systems to reduce, recycle, and properly dispose of waste generated by industrial processes and treatment plants
- Conduct market research and understand customers’ needs
- Identify and propose projects and business plans
- Ensure compliance with Malaysia energy regulation and other international regulations
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Business Developer (Water Treatment) role will bring a strong academic background in Science or Engineering, coupled with at least four years of experience in a commercial environment. Experience in starting up a business would be beneficial. You should possess a valid driving license and be open to local and overseas travel. Your ability to manage tasks independently within set deadlines will be crucial for success in this role.
