Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Retail Merchandiser for a one-year contract. What you'll do:
As a Retail Merchandiser, your role will be pivotal in managing our client's store inventory levels and product displays. You will be responsible for monitoring sales performances of products, identifying any losses or stock aging. Your keen eye for detail will help in reviewing customer feedback to predict sales trends and seasonal stock demand.
- Monitor sales and identify any losses or stock aging
- Prepare sales and stock plans in conjunction with buyers
- Liaise with buyers, analysts, stores, suppliers and distributors
- Maintain a comprehensive library of appropriate data
- Work closely with visual display staff and department heads to decide how goods should be displayed to maximise sales
- Review competitors' pricing, profit, marketing progress
