The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses on large datasets, generating reports and visualisations that support strategic decision-making.

What you'll do:

As a Sales Analyst in the FMCG sector, you will play a pivotal role in shaping business strategy through your expert handling of data. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collecting and preprocessing data from various sources, ensuring its quality for further analysis. You will perform detailed statistical analyses, uncovering trends and patterns that can inform business decisions. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will understand their data needs and provide them with relevant insights. Your findings will be presented to management, influencing key business strategies. Monitoring KPIs, supporting data-driven decision-making, and documenting your processes will also form part of your role.

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Perform statistical analyses and data modelling to uncover trends and patterns
  • Develop and implement data collection systems and strategies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights
  • Present findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sales Analyst position brings a wealth of skills and experience to the table. With a degree in Business Administration or Statistics, you have spent at least five years honing your skills within an FMCG company. Your strong knowledge of MS Office and computer literacy, coupled with your ability to manage reporting tools and market research systems, sets you apart. You are comfortable using Power BI or Salesforce systems, and have a solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles. Your excellent command of English aids in your interactions with various stakeholders. Above all, your attention to detail ensures data accuracy and integrity in all your work.

  • Graduate in Business Administration or Statistics
  • At least five years of experience in an FMCG company
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and computer literacy
  • Power BI or Salesforce system knowledge is advantageous
  • Ability to manage reporting tools systems and market research systems
  • Excellent command in English
  • Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
  • Proven experience as a data analyst or in a similar analytical role
