Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Manager in the Animal Feed sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive business growth, formulate strategic plans, manage projects, and explore new opportunities across Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating technical-commercial information to stakeholders, managing sales forecasts, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a strong understanding of Professional Pest Management, Vector Control, and ornamental control. What you'll do:

As a Technical Sales Manager in the Animal Feed sector, you will play a pivotal role in driving our client's business growth in Malaysia. You will be responsible for formulating growth strategies, managing projects, exploring new opportunities, and ensuring efficient knowledge transfer to internal and external stakeholders. Your role will also involve managing sales forecasts regularly for Malaysia and achieving agreed sales targets. You will have the opportunity to provide technical support for marketing and commercial aspects of the business. This role offers a unique blend of strategic planning, sales management, and technical expertise.

  • Formulate growth and market development strategies
  • Ensure project deliverables are achieved on schedule
  • Develop and register the right products to support profitable business growth
  • Review and revamp distribution networks if necessary
  • Create demand through activities such as technical advisory services and technical information
  • Conduct field demonstrations to communicate advantages and value propositions for solutions
  • Identify new market opportunities for all business pillars in Malaysia
  • Ensure product supply, product trial, and product registration are on track
  • Proactively look for innovative growth opportunities and identify portfolio gaps
  • Understand other providers/competitors’ activities

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Technical Sales Manager position brings a wealth of experience in strategy, sales, marketing or general management. You must have a good command of English, both verbal and written, and possesses working knowledge of technical aspects of Professional Pest Management, Vector Control and ornamental control. You should have previous experience working with PPM channel and stakeholders and is comfortable operating in a complex matrix organisation.

  • Academic level with Degree and experience in strategy, sales, marketing or general management
  • Good command of English (verbal and writing)
  • Working knowledge of technical aspects of Professional Pest Management , Vector Control and ornamental control
  • Previous experience working with PPM channel and stakeholders
  • Experience in strategy, business development, sales and marketing
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of employees in multicultural environment
  • Ability to operate in a complex matrix organisation
  • Ability to handle pressure effectively
  • Excellent social relationship building skills
  • Conflict resolution abilities
