About the Key Account Manager Role:
The Key Account Manager is a strategic professional with proven expertise in managing key client relationships. With strong communication and negotiation skills, you will navigate complex issues, offering analytical insights and developing action plans. Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, you excel in handling multiple key customer accounts. This role demands adept networking, relationship building, and excellent time management to prioritise and meet critical deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage key accounts in the modern trade channel, focusing on driving profitable growth through strategic planning and execution
• Ensure achievement of sales, profitability, product distribution, pricing, market share, and merchandising goals for assigned key accounts
• Cultivate and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with key account clients to foster organic growth and meet company objectives
• Proactively research and source new potential clients to expand business opportunities
• Utilise metrics to measure, track, and analyse key account performance for continuous improvement
• Develop Joint Business Plans (JBP) for key customers, outlining collaborative strategies for mutual success

To succeed in the Key Account Manager job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

• Degree qualifications in business management/marketing or a related field
• At least three years’ experience in an FMCG environment
• Proven key account management expertise
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strategic thinking, adept at developing recommendations and action plans
