An exciting Export Sales Manager job has become available at an integrated personal protective equipment firm. The company produces electrical safety products and with a strong commitment to safety and quality, and they are seeking an experienced Export Sales Manager to drive their international sales growth.
About the Export Sales Manager Role: In this business critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical safety products business revenue to ensure that all activities and plans are executed and implemented. You will also ensure that all sales targets are being achieved in the assigned sales territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's market presence in the international PPE glove industry
Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, support, and training to maximise sales effectiveness
Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and partners to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction
Stay updated on market trends, competition, and regulatory changes, and provide insights for product development and pricing strategies
Develop sales strategies, forecasts, and budgets to achieve revenue and profit targets, with a strong focus on both short-term and long-term goals
Negotiate and finalise sales agreements, contracts, and terms with international clients while ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements
Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation requirements for international shipments
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the PPE glove industry, product specifications, and quality standards
Prepare regular sales reports, performance metrics, and market analyses for presentation to senior management
The successful Export Sales Manager has key experience within the export sales role as well as the connection with the relevant segments.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field. MBA is a plus
Minimum of seven years' experience in export sales, with at least three years in a managerial role within the PPE glove industry
Proven track record of successfully expanding international sales, meeting or exceeding targets, and managing a sales team
Strong knowledge of PPE glove products, industry standards, and regulations
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools
Ability to travel internationally as required
