An exciting Account Manager (Lab Analytical) job has become available at a global integrated lab equipment firm.
About the Account Manager (Lab Analytical) Role: In this business critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's lab equipment product to ensure that all activities and plans are executed and implemented. You will also ensure that all sales targets are being achieved in the assigned sales territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Spearhead and increase the growth of company lab equipment business
Define the annual business plan and spearhead the sales strategy, developing and executing business growth plans to achieve budgeted sales target includes managing the product mix, pricing and margins in line with targeted budget
Take charge of technical support by providing technical support and product training to the commercial team including customers, distributors and staff
Manage the team by guiding, training and motivate the sales team to achieve given target
Monitor and provide timely feedback/reports to senior management on market development, competitor information and activities
The successful Account Manager (Lab Analytical) has key experience within the technical knowledge and practical solution selling experience, ideally in LC and Mass Spectrometry industry as well as the connection with the relevant segments.
Key Requirements:
Bachelors/masters degree in a scientific area such as Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry
At least five years' Technical knowledge and practical solution selling experience, ideally in LC and Mass Spectrometry
Experience in a laboratory, with a background in chromatography and mass spectrometry
Exposure within relevant field/industry
Action oriented and eager to achieve results
Sound communication and presentation skills
Highly organised/well-prepared / time management skills
Strong interpersonal skills and a good listener
Matured disposition, positive attitude and strong sense of commitment
Adaptive to a dynamic and ever-changing environment
Strong technical background in analytical technologies, especially LC and MS
