A Bid & Sales Support Manager (Aviation) job has become available at a multinational company in the aviation industry.
About the Bid & Sales Support Manager (Aviation) Role: This exciting opportunity will drive growth in sales by focusing on farming business in proactive manners and to achieve higher sales volume based on aggressive business plan in place.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the preparation of offers, bids, contracts and other sales-related documents by internal/external customers
Familiarise with the RFI and RFP process and understands standard pricing and bid strategy
Be responsible for product and services sales in Asia including services related portfolio
Be the first point of contact for selected customers for all related technical and commercial queries
Assist the Sales Director for joint sales mission from access to closing
Build a realistic opportunity and pre-sales activities to turn them into orders in a timely manner
Maintain active pipeline and provide effective forecast to the operations team
Collaborate with the execution teams and supporting business functions to ensure excellent customer satisfaction
Develop long-term account strategy to become partner of the airports in the Asia region
Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit with drive and creativity to bring sustainable growth to the company
Perform site survey, customer visit, and to collect time to time install base data/market intelligent
May perform other duties of a technical nature, as required, to complete assigned tasks
To succeed in this Bid & Sales Support Manager (Aviation) role, you must have prior commercial experience preferably within the airline business or related engineering products.
Key Requirements:
Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Controls Engineering or related field
Two years experience in a bidding and tendering environment
Four years of experience in channel sales, business development and operation function, preferably in the aviation/airport sector
Experience leading multidisciplinary acquisition teams
Strong analytically and able to prepare technical proposals
Willingness for 50% of travelling around ASIA is required
Good presentation and communication skills, both spoken and written English and other local languages
