Head of MRO Business (Rotating Equipment)

A market leader in the MRO business is recruiting for a Head of MRO Business (Rotating Equipment) job to join the team in Malaysia.

About the Head of MRO Business (Rotating Equipment) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be part of the company’s expansion plan to boost sales growth and business opportunities. You will be responsible to grow the business within key regions in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maximise company resources, business growth including risk management and principal delivery commitment as well as partnerships/distributors/dealer network
• Build and strengthen high level customers’ relationship that support the overall objectives of the company, especially for long-term contracts
• Ensure all business practices comply with the company’s existing policies and procedures
• Manage the development of budgets and schedules and performance to assure project objectives and schedules are met within budget
• Effectively manage large scale projects to meet customers’ needs and expectations and ensure the target profit levels are met
• Provide leadership and guidance to project, operation, and leading crew team
• Responsible for safety reporting and interaction between all team members in daily business
• To execute all procurement related activities in compliance to Group Policies and Authorities (GPA), Group Procurement Policies and Authorities (GPPA) and also the company’s procurement Standard Operating Procedures (Procurement SOPs)

To succeed in this Head of MRO Business (Rotating Equipment) role, you must have prior experience in managing MRO/rotating equipment business preferably within the O&G industry.

Key Requirements:

• At least a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering degree
• Minimum of 10 years' experience within O&G and five years in a management role
• Relevant knowledge in areas of power generation, engines, rotating equipment will be an added advantage
• Drive and motivation to succeed, to achieve sales numbers and grow the business
