About the Key Account Manager (Food Packaging) Role:
In this business critical role, you will manage the designated customers by identifying business opportunities to increase the customers’ profitability and mutual sustainable profitable growth. This role will require you to create and manage account plans based on market strategy and customer input.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the designated customers, through a cross functional Team, by identifying opportunities to increase customer’s profitability and mutual sustainable profitable growth
• Create and manage/update an account plan based on market company strategy and customer input, in line with overall customer strategy as well as product portfolio deployment and category plans
• Identify customer needs and drive opportunities in line with global business strategy, category, portfolio, processing and technical service plans
• Drive the development and execution of key account plans, driving the organisation’s value proposition for the customer
• Drive improved understanding of the customer’s overall business (marketplace, channel, retailer, consumer, competitive environment, strategy, productivity, profitability and the across value chain)
• Drive customer satisfaction and partnership improvements in accordance with global processes, ensure that customer satisfaction actions are included in the key account plan and drive resolution of customer issues
• Define, review and drive activities to increase line and plant performance and reduce overall customer system cost
• Secure accurate sales Forecasting for assigned key accounts

To succeed in this Key Account Manager (Food Packaging) job, you will need strong relationship and customer management experience to focus on developing key accounts to further increase sales revenue for the company. Experience in B2B sales to the FMCG industry is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum education of bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent
• At least seven or more years of relevant experience in B2B sales and marketing
• Experience in FMCG/FMCG Allied industries like – flavours, fragrances, food ingredients, packaging will be preferred
• Sound techno-commercial acumen along with ability to decision making ability
• Knowledge of FMCG and packaging industry and trends
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Exposure/knowledge on functioning of retailing/consumer product selling
• Experience of dealing with higher level executives as customers (Marketing Head/CEO, etc.)
