An exciting Key Account Manager, e-Commerce (FMCG) job has just become available at one of the most respected global FMCG firms based in Malaysia. Reporting directly to the Head of Function, this is a role for a manager who is a leader in their field.
About the Key Account Manager, E-Commerce (FMCG) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for handling important client accounts. The role must build and maintain strong relationships with the client and be the lead point of contact for all key client matters, by anticipating the client’s needs, working within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and helping the client to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing online shopper insights and support strategies and plans that deliver category growth based on online consumer, shopper and online customer requirements
- Developing business relationship with key customers and partners to ensure strategic alignment and continuously improve customer satisfaction
- Developing and communicating key priorities of e-business (channel, customer, business development, new opportunity, etc.) to team members, leadership team and cross-functional partners
- Planning, developing, agreeing and implementing joint business plans with e-retailers
- Monitoring and reviewing business plans with your customers, and activating contingency plans when needed
- Managing sales forecasts and investment plans, and providing weekly estimates on sales projections
- Liaising with the Customer Marketing team and other cross-functional teams to deliver national marketing plans, achieve sales objectives and meet customer and consumer needs
To succeed in this Key Account Manager, e-Commerce (FMCG), you must be numerically strong, possess outstanding strategic thinking abilities and strong experience in key account management.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or other relevant study
- Three to four years experience in e-commerce business developing and management
- Sales/marketing and digital experience with key marketplace customers with knowledge of best practices and strategies
- Strong communicator – ability to articulate a well-developed point of view
- Understand the impact of decisions and actions on relevant stakeholders
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in an extremely fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
- Results-driven and able to work with the cross-function teams to achieve sales
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self- starter, and be able to work independently
