A global leader in packaging solutions is searching for a matured and capable Key Account Manager to join the team in Malaysia.
About the Key Account Manager Role:
In this business critical role, you will manage the designated customers by identifying business opportunities to increase the customer's profitability and mutual sustainable profitable growth. This role will require you to create and manage account plans based on market strategy and customer input.
- Identify customer needs and drive opportunities
- Drive the development and execution of Key Account Plan
- Drive improved understanding of the customer’s overall business (marketplace, channel, retailer, consumer, competitive environment, strategy, productivity, profitability and the across value chain)
- Drive Customer Satisfaction and Partnership improvements in accordance to global process
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting for key accounts
The successful Key Account Manager will possess strong relationship and senior customer management experience to focus on developing key accounts to further increase sales revenue for the company. Experience in sales to the FMCG industry is advantageous.
- Degree in Marketing or Equivalent, preferably with Graduation in Engineering
- At least five years of relevant experience in B2B Sales & Marketing
- Experience in industries that sell to FMCG – i.e. Flavors, Fragrances, Food Ingredients, Packaging will be preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience of dealing with Higher Level executives of Customer (Marketing Head / CEO, etc)
- Good interpersonal skills
