About the Warehouse & Logistics Manager Role:

In this business critical role, you will be responsible for defining the broad operations strategy in the contract logistics space, delivering the highest quality service alongside the Head of Operations. You will also take lead in providing direction to all operation- managing activities, including anticipating key customer needs, offering process improvement strategies, improve profitability of the operation and budget preparation and review.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage 3-4 warehouses throughout Malaysia. May expand further to other sites in Malaysia in near future
• Communicate and liaise with customers to understand their requirements
• Maintain existing customer relationship and achieve deeper penetration with current key account
• Participate and execute yearly budgeting.
• Liaise with Sales Department and assist to prepare quotations for customers/potential customers
• Ensure set KPI/targets are met whilst ensuring a cost effective operations
• Other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time

Key Requirements:

• Experience in working with warehouse operational systems
• Possess good communication, analytic, rigorous, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Must have at least five years' experience in similar capacity and local experience
• Must have knowledge of 3PL operations
