Head of Supply Chain (Retail Grocer)

One of the leading retail grocer companies in Malaysia with 80 stores is recruiting for a Head of Supply Chain (Retail Grocer) job to manage the end-to-end supply chain process.

About the Head of Supply Chain (Retail Grocer) Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for all supply chain activities across all functions to support the business which includes warehouse, logistics, procurement, production and planning in the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and drive the various functions in supply chain which includes the warehouse, logistics, production, planning and QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment) departments
• Monitor and drive process improvements and lead new initiatives and identify opportunities and risks
• Monitor and discuss departmental statistics to determine strategies and initiatives to drive the business forward
• Analyse all financial expenditures and determine annual budget for all supply chain activities
• Drive and oversee the planning and production team to ensure benchmarks, forecast and operational targets are met
• Drive cross functional collaboration between all functions of supply chain to ensure a streamline coordination to support the business

To succeed in the Head of Supply Chain (Retail Grocer) role, you will need strong experience in managing supply chain, warehousing, logistics and planning to better support the growth of the business.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain/Operations/Business Studies or related field of study
• Minimum of 10 years' working experience in managing warehousing, logistics and general supply chain in the retail or FMCG industry
• Experience in statistics is an added advantage
• Strong leadership, people management and negotiation skills
• Strong willed, self-motivated, strong inter-personal skills and have good communication skills
