Head of Spare Parts

A renowned automotive company is recruiting for a Head of Warehouse Management job to manage its warehouse operations and lead the warehousing team to optimise the flow of goods, and to develop business strategies to achieve the company's objectives.

About the Head of Warehouse Management Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the warehousing operations improvement strategies and monitor financial performance goals to ensure that the company’s overall operations are smooth and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing cost to the company by ensuing the stocks of parts and accessories are optimised based on customer’s demand forecast
• Reviewing and monitoring warehouse stock ageing
• Collaborate with the Parts Sales team to develop and execute bundle packages to ensure turnover of ageing stocks
• Managing total operations cost through strategic business decision, parts and accessories management
• Proactively review customer service processes and quality assurance levels of the business to take pre-emptive mitigation plans to prevent issues
• Continuously improve the department overall skill level by facilitating training opportunities and daily task skill enhancement

To succeed in this Head of Warehouse Management role, you will need to possess good leadership skills and strong hands-on knowledge in the warehousing management process to provide insightful and impactful reporting to higher management.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain, Warehouse, Logistics or any related field
• Over 10 years of working experience in the storing and material control in manufacturing industry, with five years of which being in a managerial position
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently whilst still being a team player
