About the Head of Distribution Operations Role:
In this role, you will be handling all matters related to logistics operations including warehousing, inventory management, transportation. You will be responsible for managing logistics staff and the company’s 3PL providers. This role reports directly to the Country Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan activities for logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
• Arrange for delivery of transportation for goods
• Communicate with stakeholders on the progress of initiatives and potential risks and prevention plans
• Establish SOPs and policies for warehouse and work closely with the stakeholders to optimise the full order cycle
• Be responsible for 3PL management including contract and performance management as per agreed SLA
• Resolve issues concerning shipment and transportation
• Monitor and manage stock levels, stock accuracy, delivery times, transportation efficiency and cost
• Oversee projects on cost optimisation and continuous improvements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong leadership skills and a detail-oriented mindset.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in supply chain management, business administration, or any related field
• Minimum of eight years of warehousing and logistics experience in a leadership role preferably within the retail or e-commerce industry
• Proficiency in Excel, WMS, and ERP systems
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently whilst still being a team player
