One of the leading FMCG companies is currently looking for a high-calibre Assistant Customer Service & Logistics Manager to spearhead the customer service division to new heights and continuous excellency within Malaysia. This job is based in Shah Alam.
About the Assistant Customer Service & Logistics Manager Role:
Reporting to the Deputy Plant Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that all logistics and customer service functions have been performed in accordance to the expected performance and standards.
- Ensure service level is fully aligned to company's guidelines
- Provide regular inventory ageing updates to stakeholders and manage stock replenishment at the targeted stock level with respective service providers
- Coordinate closely with service providers on the deliverable and shipment updates
- Initiate continuous improvement plans to shorten the processes and lead time as well as reduce the service level losses / rejection due to service failures
To succeed in this Assistant Customer Service & Logistics Manager role, you will need prior experience in a similar capacity and possess strong analytic, planning, problem-solving and people management skills.
- A minimum of five years' experience working in logistics and customer service in the 3PL or fast-moving consumer goods industry
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualifications in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or any other related fields
- Computer proficient and ability to use the ERP system will be preferred
- Strong analytic, planning, problem-solving, communication and people management skills
