Project Manager

An established machine manufacturer is seeking a Project Manager to drive project commitment in terms of delivery time, cost, quality and customer requirements. In this job, you will report directly to the Programme Manager.

About the Project Manager Role:
In this position, you will be the key person responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, budget, document and liaise with internal and external customers for the timely execution and completion of an installation
• Ensure that each stage of the project is progressing on time, on budget and to the right quality standards and is tracked appropriately
• Be the key person to resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts between projects or functional areas
• Develop SOPs and methodologies to track project status and progress of works
• Provide necessary supervision to ensure a smooth transition from project initiation to project completion

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong interpersonal communication skills along with a high level of management skills to oversee the project, and be committed to achieve efficient and safe operation in line with the company’s high level of technical standards.

Key Requirements:

• Degree/diploma in mechanical/electrical/mechatronic engineering
• Five years of experience in project management in a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent project management skills, and the capability to engage well across functional groups
• Excellent computer literacy skills (MS-Office and MS-Project)
• Knowledge in quality management systems
