Factory Manager

An exciting Factory Manager job has become available at a leader in agrochemical and fertilisers. This is a role for a someone who is a subject-matter expert in their field.

About the Factory Manager Role:
In this role you will be responsible for leading the factory to sustainable high performance in alignment with the requirements of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage the overall operation, inclusive of process, QA/QC, production, logistic, maintenance, SHE and planning
• Coordinate the activities of production facility and work directly with other departmental heads, including maintenance/engineering, quality assurance, R&D and administration
• Lead, control and plan the activities in the plant
• Lead and drive continuous improvement on the productivity and ensure SHE excellence
• Ensure cost effectiveness on operations and optimise the plant operations for better OEE and processing cost
• Ensure the products comply with the highest quality and meet customer requirements
• Forecast the annual budget and continuously reviews the budget of the daily operations
• Provide monthly operational report to the senior management
• Explore the possibility to incorporate the new technology for process improvement and new operations
• Ensure proper implementation of GMP system in the plant

To perform well as the Factory Manager, you will need to have strong interpersonal communication skills and be committed to achieving efficient and safe operations in line with the company’s high level of technical standards.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a relevant field of study
• Eight years of extensive experience within the agrochemical and fertilisers manufacturing industry
• Proactive and independent in making decisions
• Good coordination and timely reporting skills
• Great communicator who is highly analytical and attentive to detail
• Positive mindset, team leader and motivator qualities
