Test Operation Manager

A multinational semiconductor manufacturing and production firm specialising in data conversion, signal processing and power management technology is seeking a Test Operation Manager. In this job, you will join their Test Operation Team to be based in Penang, Malaysia.

About the Test Operation Manager Role:
Reporting directly to the Head of Test Operation, this Test Operation Manager will be responsible for leading the production for Trim and Probe process (Wafer Sorting). This person will be leading four production shift teams to achieve key performance metrics such as attaining the set target output and maximising the productivity levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for trim and probe production
• Manage the day-to-day operation to meet key production performance metrics
• Manage production improvement by implementing continuous improvement programmes to increase overall productivity and efficiency
• Ensure good 5S, safety and quality standards are consistently met
• Handle people management and discipline enforcement
• Create a positive work culture and environment for employees
• Help promote company culture that encourages top performance and high morale

To succeed in this role, you must have strong experiences in the production of trim and probe process.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in engineering
• Minimum of eight years in the semiconductor industry
• Proven work experience as a Production Manager or similar role
• Good background in wafer probe manufacturing is preferred
• Strong leadership skills with excellent execution
