A leading heavy equipment supplier is looking for a Strategy & Business Transformation Lead to plan, strategise and drive an exciting transformation programme across the organisation. In this job, you will report to the General Manager.
About the Strategy & Business Transformation Lead Role:
In this position, you will be responsible to drive initiatives within the organisation to improve efficiency of internal processes, cost base and ultimately, drive value for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop overall transformation roadmap that defines key areas of the dealership requiring improvement
- Identify opportunities to drive top line growth, expansion in margins, and operational efficiency
- Guide development of business case for proposed initiatives to help improve the company’s performance
- Work closely with business unit heads to implement and harvest benefits from identified initiatives Lead change management and secure buy-in from relevant stakeholders
- Design and implement the governance process of transformational initiatives (pre and post-implementation) and tracking of KPIs
- Proactively flag potential risks and obstacles before formulating action plans to mitigate them
- Optimise capital deployment by conducting regular reviews on key invested capital items
- Build capability within the team and coach them to drive results
To be successful in this role, you must have at least five years of advisory experience within one of the top management consultancy firms.
Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering/Finance/Economics or a relevant numerical discipline
- Five years’ experience in managing projects, process improvement initiatives or operations, preferably in a setting that requires alignment to overall corporate goals
- Advisory experience within a management consulting firm is highly preferable
- Ability to identify and address key issues to support strategic business needs
- Proven track record in providing strategic direction, planning, and establishing priorities that ensure an effective work structure which maximises productivity and achieves goals
- Good understanding of KPIs, focusing on key objectives and delivering results that meet or exceed expectations
- An innovative mindset to develop new insights into organisation improving solutions
- Ability to interact and build relationships with all personnel, including those from other departments while motivating and inspiring team members
- Passionate about bringing about a positive change to an organisation
