  • Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies by analysing local consumer insights, use-cases, competition landscape, and emerging trends within the Malaysian market.
  • Plan and implement locally relevant marketing activations across content creation, media planning, influencer partnerships, and public relations initiatives to maximise brand visibility.
  • Align product portfolio roadmaps and launch timelines for Malaysia in close coordination with APAC regional marketing teams to ensure timely and successful product introductions.
  • Collaborate constructively with local cross-functional teams including sales, trade, media, supply chain, and consumer care to deliver cohesive go-to-market strategies and compelling trade stories.
  • Lead the end-to-end management of 360-degree marketing plans covering paid social media, organic social channels, influencer engagement, and PR activities for all product launches.
  • Oversee the annual marketing calendar for product launches and activations while ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and communication goals.
  • Manage relationships with media leads as well as influencer/PR agencies from briefing through execution to guarantee efficient allocation of marketing spend within assigned categories.
  • Leverage local consumer insights to adapt global content for maximum relevance in Malaysia while continuously identifying key learnings related to target audiences, creative performance, and platform effectiveness.
  • Share actionable insights regularly with both local stakeholders and APAC counterparts to foster continuous improvement in campaign outcomes.
  • Champion best practices in content localisation, media efficiency, and KPI achievement by monitoring results against established benchmarks.

  • Comprehensive understanding of commercial strategy including portfolio management, brand positioning, product marketing tactics, as well as digital-first media planning approaches.
  • Demonstrated capability in stakeholder management building trust-based relationships across internal teams as well as external agency partners for effective project delivery.
  • Experience thriving within cross-functional environments where collaboration is essential for achieving shared goals across sales, supply chain, media, trade marketing, and customer care functions.
  • Action-oriented mindset paired with strong problem-solving skills enabling you to navigate challenges constructively while maintaining focus on priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate constructively on multiple concurrent projects without losing sight of deadlines or quality standards; adept at balancing competing demands effectively.
