Head of Marketing (FMCG)
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Marketing to lead their marketing team. This role is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to develop and execute innovative brand strategies, accelerate the Ecommerce agenda, and manage key relationships within the industry.
What you'll do:
As the Head of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the growth of assigned brands by developing competitive brand strategies. You will be responsible for driving consumer demand, delivering market share targets, profitability, and building upon global brand strategy. Your role will also involve managing relationships with opinion leaders within the consumer community. Furthermore, you will oversee Consumer Market Insights agencies like Kantar and Nielsen to track performance and derive insights from data and market trends. You will also lead new product launch projects as the local marketing lead.
- Develop and implement brand strategy across all channels.
- Identify key consumer, category, and market insights and apply them to brand strategy.
- Prepare product line objectives for medium/long term plan.
- Manage brand P&L and analyze sales performance trends.
- Oversee Consumer Market Insights agencies to track performance and derive insights.
- Conduct consumer and market research to uncover new opportunities.
- Lead new product launch projects as the local marketing lead.
- Formulate annual media strategies in collaboration with media agency.
- Spearhead PR strategy and manage PR activities.
- Evaluate pricing strategy for all new products & for existing product Portfolio.
What you bring:
As the ideal candidate for the Head of Marketing position, you are a results-driven self-starter with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You bring a sound strategic thinking approach coupled with a growth mindset. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively present ideas and reach consensus with internal or external partners having strongly contradictory sets of interests. Your good analytical, organizational, and project management skills make you adept at handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Additionally, your experience in product launches & digital campaigns in the consumer world equips you with unique insights into market dynamics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/ Business and/or Science degree.
- Minimum of ten years of work experience in brand management in an FMCG MNC.
- Strong command of English and excellent team player skills.
- Good analytical, organizational and project management skill.
- Experience in product launch & digital campaigns in consumer world.
