Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Brand Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the brand and marketing strategy for a portfolio of premium spirit brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns, managing A&P expenditure, and supporting the achievement of business objectives.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Brand Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's premium spirit brands. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the brand's marketing strategy, ensuring that all activities align with the company's vision. You will work closely with various internal stakeholders to plan and execute marketing campaigns that deliver high ROIs. Additionally, you will manage trade activation plans, conduct market visits, build market knowledge, and handle forecast management.

  • Elevate and drive cohesive brand marketing to achieve best-in-class executions and activations
  • Define and develop the Annual Brand-building and Activity Plan
  • Collaborate with the regional marketing team to guide and ensure brilliant execution
  • Champion the acceleration of social performance for our brands locally
  • Develop and curate trade activation plans with commercial team
  • Conduct regular market visits with local commercial teams to understand operation landscape
  • Build continued market knowledge, consumer insights, and gather inputs for the Annual Activation Plan
  • Forecast management - Work with Country Manager to forecast monthly APO

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Brand Manager position brings a wealth of experience in luxury or premium consumer goods marketing. You are known for your strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Your ability to adapt to change quickly sets you apart from others. With excellent numerical, project management, and time management skills, you can handle multiple tasks efficiently. Your high competency in spoken and written English enables you to communicate effectively across diverse teams. Above all, your proven track record in leading agencies demonstrates your ability to inspire others towards achieving common goals.

  • Minimum 6-8 years marketing experience in Luxury or Premium Consumer Goods
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • High competency in spoken and written English
  • Proven track record in leadership of agencies
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Excellent numerical, project management and time management skills
