They are currently seeking an experienced Brand Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. What you'll do:
As a Brand Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve driving innovation strategies, identifying market opportunities for new product innovations, leading brand essence and proposition development, and ensuring efficient portfolio management. You will also be expected to work closely with technical product experts globally for New Product Development (NPD) optimisation.
- Drive Innovation Strategies & Portfolio Management
- Identify market/portfolio opportunities and growth drivers for new product innovations
- Lead brand essence and proposition development for new product innovations
- Develop strategic portfolio framework and recommendations for long term business growth
- Ensure efficient portfolio management to meet brand strategy and business objectives
- Work closely with technical product experts globally for NPD development and optimisation
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Brand Manager position will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or a business-related course. You should have at least five years of experience in brand management or innovation within an FMCG environment. Proven experience in brand management including innovation, preferably in the Consumer Goods Industry is essential. A strong understanding of translating insights into innovation/relaunches is also required.
