Our client is seeking a Group Brand Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, developing commercial planning and managing the execution of brands under the assigned category. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and developing a high-performance marketing team, ensuring the overall financial health of the category, and managing external agency/business partners.

What you'll do:

As a Group Brand Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's brand portfolio. You will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to develop commercial planning strategies that align with company goals. Your responsibilities will include managing overall brand positioning, overseeing product launches, monitoring market trends, and leading a team of marketers. You will also be tasked with managing stocks and supply in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role requires strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to driving business growth.

  • Develop marketing and sales strategies to drive business growth
  • Manage overall brand positioning and product launches
  • Oversee current offerings and initiate new product development
  • Monitor market trends and opportunities, developing corrective action plans as necessary
  • Manage external agency/business partners to ensure successful marketing projects
  • Lead a team of marketers to ensure tactical execution of marketing plans
  • Ensure total marketing spend is within budget and strive to drive better marketing profit
  • Manage stocks and supply working with cross-functional teams

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Group Brand Manager position brings a wealth of experience in the FMCG industry, particularly in Brand Marketing or related functions. You possess an in-depth understanding of brand management tools and processes, coupled with high-level project management skills. Your experience spans from ideation to launch of new products (NPDs), demonstrating your strategic thinking abilities. You have proven commercial acumen with experience managing P&L, A&P budget, and Marketing Profit. Your leadership skills are evident through your experience managing and leading subordinates.

  • Degree in Business Management or Marketing preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in FMCG industry preferably in Brand Marketing or related functions
  • In-depth knowledge of brand management tools & processes
  • High-level project management skills
  • Experience in NPD development from ideation to launch
  • Commercial/Financial acumen – managing P&L, A&P budget and Marketing Profit
  • Experience in managing & leading subordinates for minimum 2 years
  • Understanding of Shopper/Trade Marketing
