Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Head (Personal Care) to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. What you'll do:
As a Marketing Head (Personal Care), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's growth trajectory. Your primary responsibilities will include developing retail sales plans, forecasting sales, monitoring resources, and maintaining key accounts. You will also be tasked with conducting market research, creating marketing strategies, managing budgets, and leading your team towards achieving their KPIs. Your proactive approach will enable you to identify opportunities for further growth while ensuring alignment across various functional teams.
- Develop annual and monthly sales forecasts.
- Monitor sales resources and budget allocation.
- Maintain rapport with key accounts through periodic visits.
- Conduct thorough research to understand customer preferences and competitive landscape.
- Develop go-to-market plans, including product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Manage the marketing budget effectively.
- Coach and supervise the sales & marketing team with clear KPIs.
- Address concerns and initiate actions for improvement.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Marketing Head (Personal Care) role brings a wealth of experience in both sales and marketing. With at least 8 years of experience under your belt, you have honed your skills in developing effective strategies that drive results. Your background includes a minimum of 5 years' experience in B2B2C, and B2C sales within the skincare, wellness or cosmetics industry. You possess strong analytical skills that allow you to conduct thorough market research and derive actionable insights from data. Your excellent communication skills enable you to effectively convey marketing strategies to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or any related field.
- Minimum 8 years of sales and marketing experience.
- At least 2 years in senior management positions.
- Experience in B2B2C and B2C sales preferably related to Personal Care products.
- Proven experience in product marketing in the Malaysian market.
- In-depth understanding of the Malaysian healthcare/ skincare/ wellness market.
- Strong analytical skills to conduct market research and analyze data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
