What you'll do:
As a Regional Brand Manager, you will play a critical role in leading the local brand strategy of assigned confectionery brands in Malaysia and International Markets Cluster. You will define and deliver a robust marketing mix and integrated marketing initiatives based on in-depth consumer and market understanding. Your responsibilities will include leading all aspects of branding management such as brand equity management, consumer relationship management, COGS management, price strategy, portfolio management, design & creative management. You will also collaborate with other functions to develop new products or renew existing ones according to their brand strategies. Your role will involve carrying out market segmentation, targeting and positioning for all product lines. You will manage the overall marketing budget under the guidance of Marketing Head.
- Lead all branding management including brand equity management, consumer relationship management, COGS management, price strategy, portfolio management, design & creative management
- Collaborate with Region/other functions to develop Confectionery New Product Development (NPD) and/or renew existing products according to their brand strategies
- Carry out market segmentation, targeting and positioning for all product lines
- Manage the overall marketing budget under the guidance of Marketing Head
- Develop & execute communication plans to raise brand awareness, penetration, and lifetime values
- Create content for brand building such as TVC, digital movies, POSM and develop efficient media plans in collaboration with advertisement agencies
- Conduct research and analysis on local consumer lifestyle and behavior
- Evaluate and improve marketing activities through annual Brand Health Tracking and monthly review meetings
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Regional Brand Manager role will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. You will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and / or Business Administration or equivalent, with a Master’s degree being an added advantage. Your ability to analyze and utilize marketing information to formulate effective plans will be crucial in this role. With at least 10 years of professional experience, including working experiences in Australia and Singapore, you will have a deep understanding of FMCG/Brand and Marketing Management in FMCG or food industries. Your ability to influence all stakeholders internally and externally (embedded in Distributor) and have a start-up mindset will be key to your success. You will also be able to lead and co-work with the team effectively, handle executions as hands-on with operational excellence.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and / or Business Administration or equivalent. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Ability to analyze and utilize marketing information to formulate effective plans.
- At least 10 years of professional experience. Working experiences in Australia and Singapore are required.
- Experience in FMCG/Brand and Marketing Management in FMCG or food industries.
- Ability to influence all stakeholders internally and externally (embedded in Distributor) and have a start-up mindset.
- Able to lead and co-work with the team effectively, handle executions as hands-on with operational excellence.
- Proficiency in English.
